About me

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Language and Speech Processing working with Dan Povey and Benjamin Van Durme. My research is on the Machine Translation for English Retrieval of Information in Any Language (MATERIAL) program, focusing on automatic speech recognition and translation, and text classification. I obtained my Ph.D. from Oregon Health & Science University in 2016, advised by Brian Roark. My thesis work was focused on incremental segmentation and annotation strategies for real-time natural language processing applications.
