Welcome to my web page.
I defended my thesis on Oct. 2004.
Title:
Language Model Adaptation for Automatic Speech Recognition
and Statistical Machine Translation
Advisor:
Prof. Sanjeev Khudanpur.
I was a Ph.D. student at
the Computer Science Dept. of
The Johns Hopkins University.
I was also affiliated with
Center for Language and Speech Processing (CLSP).
I am interested in statistical language modeling mainly applied to automatic speech recognition and also applicable to
statistical machine translation.
More specifically, I worked on language model smoothing, and now I am working on cross-lingual language modeling and language model adaptations.
From a couple of years ago,
I had been involved in
machine translation evaluations which have been conducted by
NIST.
