Workshop Information

From July 15 - August 23, 1996 the Center will be hosting an invited research workshop on innovative techniques for large vocabulay conversational speech recognition. WS96 is the fourth workshop in a series sponsored by the Department of Defense, the last one having taken place at the CLSP in the summer of 1995 and the previous two at Rutgers University in the summers of 1993 and 1994.

Workshop guest lectures are open to the public and are indicated below in the sections Guest Lecturers at WS96.

This year there will be a total of 34 "full-time" participants: 23 researchers, 10 students, and 1 HTK support participant.

Workshop Location

The workshop site is at Barton Hall on the Hopkins Homewood Campus. The laboratory is Barton 123.

Parking

General visitor parking is available at the Visitor Parking lot (fee charged) or at any of the meters on campus (quarters only), or you can purchase a parking pass from the CLSP Adminitrative Offices during normal working hours, 9-5 pm.
